We’re excited to unveil the official logo for the 40th Caretakers of the Environment International (CEI) Conference, which will take place in 2026 in the beautiful town of Fethiye, Türkiye. This special logo celebrates both the natural richness of the region and the core theme of the conference: Sustainable Tourism.

 

At the heart of the design is a vibrant combination of symbolic elements:

 

• The sweetgum (Liquidambar orientalis) leaf, an endemic plant species unique to the Fethiye region, represents the area's rare and precious biodiversity.

 

• The Caretta caretta sea turtle, a beloved symbol of local marine life, reminds us of the importance of protecting endangered species and their habitats.

 

• Paragliding imagery, inspired by Fethiye’s world-renowned Babadag Mountain, highlights one of the region’s most iconic and sustainable tourism activities—bringing together people and nature in harmony.

• Flying birds, flowing water, and mountain silhouettes further emphasize the ecological beauty of Fethiye, making it the perfect backdrop for a global gathering focused on environmental care.

With its blend of cultural identity, ecological symbols, and an eye toward the future, this logo reflects the spirit of CEI 2026—a celebration of young environmental caretakers working together for a more sustainable world.
